The Ian Hoyer Music Fund

Ian was taken from us in a tragic accident, July 30, 2004, at the age of 18.  He was a musician and a cook, and was well on his way to becoming a chef.  We have created a fund in his name to support a community-wide music program for the youth of Taos County, New Mexico.  The program includes mentoring and teaching by local professional musicians, practice and studio space, performance opportunities, access to instruments and performances and workshops by well-known musicians. The program is headquartered at Chamisa Mesa High School in Taos.
