Kim Phuong Nguyen was born in Vietnam in a
rural area of the Mekong Delta. She has been conducting custom tours to Vietnam
since 2005. She loves to share her knowledge of her homeland's culture,
customs, folklore - and food - with fellow travelers. She especially likes to
take people to her family home in the Mekong and travelers often mention it as
the highlight of their trip. And, she's great to have along when you're
shopping. In 2002, she moved to the United States and now lives in Santa Fe,
New Mexico, with her husband. Marny Freedman. "Marny", who has been to Vietnam
more than 20 times and has traveled to all parts of the country, will also
accompany us. Phuong and Marny are also active participants in the
